A Coach also referred to as a "bus" is large motor vehicle for conveying passengers between locations - often long distance excursions between cities - or even between countries. Coaches usually have a compartment beneath the passenger cabin and are normally equipped with facilities required for longer trips including comfortable seats and sometimes a toilet. Prices for traveling by coach are usually cheaper and more comfortable than other modes of long distance transportation such as standard taxicabs.

Coaches are also often used to transport large numbers of passengers to and from airports during excursions as they can transfer more passengers than standard taxi cabs and hold more luggage
